College Access Manager
Black College Success

Tonysha Miles is the College Access Manager for the Black College Success Program, managed by the LA Promise Fund.  She joined LAPF in late August of 2023. She is part of this program because of its mission and the population it serves.

Miles has worked in the non-profit sector for the last two years. Her background primarily focuses on servicing underrepresented populations. She received her BA in Sociology from Talladega College and is currently getting her Masters in Organizational Management from Virginia University of Lynchburg. She is also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Miles’ favorite book is “The Light We Carry” by Michelle Obama. Her hobbies include reading, writing, and graphic art. She chose education as a career path because education saved her.
