Leslie oversees all aspects of grant funding for LAPF and its schools, helping the agency to secure the resources needed to further its mission and meet its programmatic goals.
Tresun joined LA Promise Fund in July 2021. Prior to joining LAPF, she served as a consultant to nonprofit organizations and schools, focusing on grant writing, program planning and evaluation. Tresun brings a strong background in the education sector and extensive experience obtaining foundation and government funding to her LAPF role.
Tresun holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from San Francisco State University and a Master’s in Educational Psychology from Pepperdine University. She obtained her B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley.
During her free time, Tresun volunteers with a local animal rescue and is a volunteer baker for an organization that primarily serves foster youth. She loves to travel and is an avid concert-goer.
