With close to 20 years of Supply Chain Logistics experience and 10 years of experience in higher education and curriculum design, Leo Medina is passionate about creating and delivering innovative, technology-driven, and industry-aligned logistics education that prepares students for successful careers in the global logistics sector. He is a professor of technology and logistics at East Los Angeles College, where Medina teaches courses on logistics technology, and innovation, and leads special projects that connect students with industry partners and opportunities.

He founded Medina Education, a company that develops and publishes a comprehensive and career-driven logistics curriculum that over 800 students use in eight school districts across Southern California. Medina leverages his business experience acumen, academic credentials, instructional technology, and leadership, as his industry connections, to design and deliver engaging, relevant, and career-driven learning experiences that challenge, excite, and ignite students’ interest and potential in global logistics.

Medina has authored 25 books on various logistics and leadership topics and received multiple certifications in online course design and teaching using Canvas. He is committed to driving change and excellence in logistics education and bridging the gap between academia and industry.
