Jenna Brewer

Communications Manager

My name is Jenna Brewer, and she is the Communications Manager at LA Promise Fund. As a member of the Communications Team, her job is to promote and publicize the activities, goals, and accomplishments of LAPF & Westbrook Academy.  She will schedule social, blog, fundraising, and promotional content as well as help capture event footage and create collateral/graphics for the organization.

Brewer joined LAPF in June 2024. Before joining LAPF, she was an Art Director and Graphic Designer in the film, TV, and digital media industry. Additionally, she has been a Design Coordinator and Set Designer for independent production companies, and a Photographer and Videographer for other non-profit organizations.

Brewer has a bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University (‘21), where she studied Film and TV Production and Graphic Design.  She was a member of Sigma Lambda Gamma, a UGC multicultural sorority that promotes cultural awareness, equity in education, and excellence in education. Currently, she is a fellow of WIF (formerly Women in Film), a year-long mentorship program that aims to connect women and non-binary people with mentors who are well-established within the film industry.

Brewer’s favorite books from the last few years are Circe by Madeline Miller and Normal People by Sally Rooney. Her hobbies include gardening, flea market shopping, and seeing movies in the theater (preferably on $6 Tuesdays). She decided to transition into the non-profit education sphere because she believes if we invest in the youths’ potential and their dreams, they can achieve a happy & fulfilling life.
