Associate Director of Arts Programs

Christina Korn is the Associate Director of Arts Programs at LA Promise Fund. Korn oversees Media ArtsMatter, a multi-year pilot program funded by the U.S. Department of Education, and collaborates with community partners from Los Angeles’ creative industries to promote learning through the arts.

Korn helped launch Media ArtsMatter in 2019 as a Teaching Artist at John Muir Middle School and West Adams High School. As a Lecturer with UCLA’s Visual and Performing Arts Education program, Korn leverages her decade of impactful education experience to mentor the next generation of Teaching Artists. Specializing in Arts Integration, Korn has worked with the Hammer Museum, LACMA, and Urban Arts Partnership to develop curriculum and implement arts programming that deepens expressive skills while affirming student identity.

Korn earned her B.F.A. in Art Education from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in affiliation with Tufts University and is dedicated to her studio practice in painting.
