Alex Rincon

Senior Associate Director of Advancement

Alex Rincon is the Associate Director of Advancement, and was formerly a program director at LAPF under the Career Pathway Connections grant.  Rincon received his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He has his M.S. in Social Entrepreneurship from USC. In the past, he taught English in Bogota, Colombia, and worked with LAPF managing mentorship and internship programs for students through The Intern Project.

Most recently, Rincon worked with the USC Rossier School of Education as a college advisor to improve college outcomes for low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students supporting them with everything college. With these experiences in youth education, Alex has witnessed the need for supporting struggling communities and is overjoyed to help students on their pathway to success.

His favorite book is The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

Rincon enjoys kayaking, Latin dancing, and staying active.
