Countywide Programs Manager
Scarlett Park is the countywide programs program manager. In this role, she works with the director of programs to manage the major programmatic efforts of the LA Promise Fund, including Girls Build, The Intern Project, and AMGEN Biotech Experience.
Park joined the LA Promise Fund in 2019 after working as the partnership coordinator for the South Los Angeles Promise Zone (SLATE-Z), a 10-year federal initiative created by the Obama Administration to address issues around job creation, economic development, educational attainment, public safety, and transit accessibility in South LA through leveraging local partnerships.
Park is a first-generation college graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with a B.A. in Political Science. She strongly identifies with her first-generation immigrant, single-mother household, and working-class roots. She joined the LA Promise Fund because she is passionate about ensuring that Los Angeles remains a place of inclusivity and opportunity, especially for traditionally underserved communities.
Her favorite novel is Beloved by Toni Morrison. Outside of LAPF, she enjoys reading up on new subjects at the beach and exploring Koreatown.
