Margarita Luviano


Program Coordinator, Network for Student Improvement

Margarita Luviano is passionate about working with youth. She has served as the College and Career Coordinator at West Adams Preparatory High School and Manual Arts High School, working alongside the Associate Director of College and The College Counselor. She is currently serving as the Program Coordinator for the Network for Student Improvement at LAPF. 

Margarita has obtained her experience by working extensively with first generation/low-income students throughout LAUSD high schools by promoting college and career readiness with Volunteers of America Upward Bound and Educational Talent Search where she has served for more than 6 years.

Margarita is a transfer student from El Camino College and obtained her B.A from CSU Long Beach. She loves spending time at the beach and being with friends and family. Her favorite books include: Kindred by Octavia Butler, and the Lord of the Rings Book Series.
