Associate Director of Pathway Development
Kevin Doyel is beyond excited to join the LA Promise Fund as Associate Director of Pathway Improvement. He has returned home after 15 years on the East Coast where he worked in Education since earning his Master’s Degree from The City University New York – Hunter College in 2011.
Prior to changing his career, Kevin earned his Bachelor’s Degree in TV/Film from Cal State Fullerton and worked in the entertainment industry as an actor and filmmaker.
Kevin has worked as an educator within the public school systems of New York City, Maryland, and Virginia where he developed a strong understanding and passion for educating and supporting our amazing youth. He exited the classroom and continued his path as the Director of Programs at Hudson River Middle School in Manhattan where he developed enrichment programs for middle school students and their families. Kevin also established and managed summer filmmaking intensives for Manhattan Youth in New York City, where many of the student films were featured at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Kevin enjoys going to music festivals, concerts and finding the best vegan restaurants in every town!
