Arts Program Manager
Kenny is the Arts Program Manager at LA Promise Fund, where he facilitates the development of arts education curriculum for LA County schools to support teachers’ capacity to integrate the arts into standards-based curriculum for deeper student engagement in the classroom and to build pathways to jobs outside of them.
He previously worked at 826LA, where he oversaw writing programs that served over 2,500 LAUSD students each school year and created curriculum to help hundreds of teachers spark excitement about writing back in their classes. He played a key role in bridging development and programming efforts and has led student-centered projects that have been featured in LA Weekly and the New York Times.
Ng also assists in radio production and communications at KCRW, and his writing has been published by the Hammer Museum, The Rumpus, LA Downtowner, and Thomas Keller’s FINESSE. He believes in the ability of the arts to create a more radical future.
