Technology Manager

Under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology, the Technology Manager serves a mid-level member of the technology team and helps ensure that technology is functioning at all of our school sites and LAPF headquarter offices. Director of People & Operations

As part of the dynamic LAPF Operations team, this leadership position will provide guidance and expertise to the Executive Team and support employees at all levels.  With the utmost discretion, the Director of People & Ops will develop and implement strategic initiatives which will be integral in ensuring operational compliance across LAPF’s multiple sites (ie. HQ, Westbrook Academy).

School Psychologist Intern,
Russell Westbrook Why Not? Academy

Russell Westbrook Why Not? Middle and High Schools advance a college-prep culture and integrated digital media arts-themed education, with significant parent engagement, socio-emotional supports, and leadership development. Under the supervision of the School Psychologist, this unpaid internship will involve supporting the psycho-educational evaluations for RWWNHS and RWWNMS. Some duties include, but are not limited to, records review, parent interview support, testing, pupil observations, and corresponding write-ups. (2) letters of recommendation required.

Abe Laboratory Technician/site Coordinator, Pierce College (Abe)

The Amgen Biotech Experience, managed by the LA Promise Fund, offers an innovative science education program that provides teacher professional development, teaching materials, and research-grade equipment to secondary schools including those in South LA. This position would serve as an ABE-LA representative and primary liaison with teachers and ABE program partners on behalf of Pierce College. As a Site Coordinator, this role will have the opportunity to develop online modules using LabExchange as well as presenting in-person and virtual workshops. Prior high school or college teaching experience preferred.
