LA Promise Charter Middle, Social Studies Teacher

LAPCHS#1 Math Teacher

Data & Analytics Manager

Under the Slate-Z Stronger Workforce Pathway Connections grant, the Data & Analytics Manager will ensure all administrators and teachers within the South LA network (high schools, local community colleges and business sectors) become data-informed practitioners.  As part of the Network for School Improvement staff, the D&A manager will create professional development data-informed practices to developing school-level dashboards and administer surveys of stakeholders to assess program effectiveness.     more info

LA Promise Charter Middle School #1 Co-Principal

Under the supervision of the Director of Schools, the ideal candidate will drive student outcomes by being a collaborative and visionary leader while implementing Common Core State Standards and other initiatives focusing on Arts Integration, Digital Media and Project-Based Learning.  The LAPCMS#1 Co-Principal should effectively communicate with stakeholders and simultaneously recruit future students through community and parent engagement.  more info

LAPCMS#1 Science Teacher

At the LA Promise Charter Middle School, the science teacher will align planning to the Common Core Standards and student assessment, using data-driven techniques to set ambitious goals for scholars.  Through interdisciplinary Project-Based Learning, the science teacher position will integrate this framework with common core concepts to explore research in the various areas of science.  more info

Associate Director of Pathway Implementation

LA Promise Fund is a recipient of the Slate-Z Stronger Workforce Pathway Connections grant.  This position is a product of this 30-month grant to strengthen connections between South LA network high schools, local Community Colleges and the business sector to ensure more students are exposed, prepared and pursue jobs in Digital Media, Healthcare, Business & Finance and Construction.  The Assoc Director would serve as a pathway expert in their respective field, as a primary liaison with high school partners and the CTE offices, coordinating work-based learning opportunities in digital media arts.  more info

College & Career Coordinator

This part time position will be dedicated to LA Promise Fund’s three college centers at Manual Arts High, West Adams Prep High and LA Promise Charter High School.  The coordinator will strengthen the existing college prep outreach program, focusing on promising and eligible 9th – 12th grade students as well as lead support in the LAPF Mentorship & Internship program.   more info

Director of Development

Working collaboratively with the Chief Executive Officer, this position will lead the agency’s annual fundraising efforts.  The Director of Development will support and contribute to the LAPF’s multi-pronged development strategy which includes foundation, corporate, individual, special events and public efforts. Some development duties include researching and writing grants to private foundations, corporations and public agencies; working within Salesforce; cultivating new partners, sponsors and prioritizing funding opportunities; etc.   more info

Program Manager, County-wide Programs

The Program manager will help implement an ambitious project to improve educational outcomes for LA County students, by overseeing administrative, logistical, programmatic and communication tasks related to three LA Promise Fund large-scale programs: Amgen Biotech Experience, Girls Build, and The Intern Project.  more info

Associate Director of College Access

The AD of College Access Program manager will create a college-going culture through A-G programming (Summer Bridge), parent-oriented programs, peer-college counseling and managing on-campus partnerships.  As part of the LA Promise Fund College & Career Team, this role will implement annual targets, engage in strategic planning and cultivate new initiatives.   more info
