Parent & Community Coordinator

The Parent and Community Coordinator will be heavily involved in the day-to-day parent engagement operations of both LAPCHS#1 and LAPCMS#1, coordinating outreach and building repertoire between school site faculty, students, LA Promise Fund staff and parents.  This position will also co-lead charter school recruitment efforts and create a feeder school pipeline.   more info

After School Program Aide

The LA Promise Charter High School #1 is in need of an entrepreneurial supervisor, assisting the Dir. of Programs in executing all after school activities.  From tracking student attendance to assisting administrators and teachers in program objectives, the After School Aide will oversee 20-40 students throughout the Fy19-20 school year.  more info

Director of Development

Working collaboratively with the Chief Executive Officer, this position will lead the agency’s annual fundraising efforts.  The Director of Development will support and contribute to the LAPF’s multi-pronged development strategy which includes foundation, corporate, individual, special events and public efforts. Some development duties include researching and writing grants to private foundations, corporations and public agencies; working within Salesforce; cultivating new partners, sponsors and prioritizing funding opportunities; etc.   more info

School Food Pantry Coordinator

As part of the Family and Community Outreach initiatives, the School Food Pantry Coordinator will oversee the operation at LA Promise Charter Middle School #1.  Spanish fluency is required in order to serve South LA students and families, including relevant professional and volunteer experience in a collaborative environment.   more info

Data & Analytics Manager

Under the Slate-Z Stronger Workforce Pathway Connections grant, the Data & Analytics Manager will ensure all administrators and teachers within the South LA network (high schools, local community colleges and business sectors) become data-informed practitioners.  As part of the Network for School Improvement staff, the D&A manager will create professional development data-informed practices to developing school-level dashboards and administer surveys of stakeholders to assess program effectiveness.     more info

Associate Director of College Access

The AD of College Access Program manager will create a college-going culture through A-G programming (Summer Bridge), parent-oriented programs, peer-college counseling and managing on-campus partnerships.  As part of the LA Promise Fund College & Career Team, this role will implement annual targets, engage in strategic planning and cultivate new initiatives.   more info

Marketing Intern (Part-time, Stipend)

An incredible opportunity to develop social media content, produce story ideas and learn the intricacies of digital marketing culture.  High school diploma required and prior internship experience helpful.   more info
