Chris Valenzuela

Data & Analytics Manager

Chris supports the Career Pathway Connections and the Network for School Improvement programs by leveraging internal data to provide key insights and metrics to these program stakeholders.  Valenzuela will also train school staff to make the most of their data resources, whether it be the SIS system or other integrated data platforms.

Valenzuela comes from Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, where he used his skills as a data analyst to identify key operational metrics, improve the schools’ NSLP and SBP programs, and worked directly with school leaders to improve student outcomes.

Valenzuela double majored in Economics and Political Science at UCLA, where he learned economic and statistical modeling.  His favorite books include Voyages to Utopia by William McCord, and Economics: The Dismal Science by Charles Wheelan.  On his off time, Valenzuela is a web developer who is always eager to learn the newest JavaScript framework.
