Associate Director of Development
Mia Henley is honored to work alongside her passionate and tireless colleagues at LA Promise Fund to better public education outcomes for students in Los Angeles. In her role, Henley writes grants and grant reports, manages all development communications, researches new funding opportunities, and oversees the donor database for the LA Promise Fund. She also collaborates with the Communications and Program teams for fundraising and other special events. Previously, Henley managed all office operations and assisted in development strategy and implementation at the LA Fund.
After beginning her career at a start-up healthy food company, where she wore numerous hats and honed her operations and marketing skills, Henley wanted to rejoin the non-profit sector.
