Camly Nguyen works to implement high-quality data collection and analysis practices for the LA Promise Fund. Nguyen joined LAPF in January 2018. Before joining LAPF, she was a program administrator and underwriter for the Scholastic First Program at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., a program providing insurance and financial services for charter and independent schools across the United States.
In June 2015, Nguyen graduated with a B.A.in International Development Studies and Economics from UCLA. In addition, she acted as the Middle School staff for the Pasadena nonprofit Northwest Neighbors for over 2 years, mentoring first-generation, low-income students. She has a strong passion for using data to make effective changes to processes and communities.
Some of her hobbies consist of hiking, photography, and finding the best French fries in southern California.
